Established in year 1961, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is business school of International repute. It is ranked as the top business school in India according to Business Today and Economic Times. Courses Offered & Department

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

The Fellow Programme in Management is the PhD program or doctoral program of IIMA. The main objective of FPM is to provide students with the necessary skills to identify and research complex issues in the field of management.

Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)

The Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is equivalent to MBA. It is a two year full time programme that nurtures world-class managers by exposing them to real life amorphous situations along with analytical tools and business philosophies. Post-Graduate Program in Management is rated as the toughest MBA programme in the world to get admission.

Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM)

The Post-Graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management (PGP-ABM) is a two year full-time programme equivalent to MBA. This unique programme is specially designed to enhance the quality of management related to agriculture, food, agri-business, rural and allied sectors of the economy.

One Year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX)

Post-Graduate Diploma in Management for Executives (PGPX) is a one year full-time programme for executives with substantial work experience. The students are selected on the basis of work experience, GMAT scores and an interview.

Post Graduate Programme in Public Management and Policy (PGP-PMP)

PGP-PMP is a full-time residential programme in public management and policy with a sharp focus on governance and policy formulation and implementation, infrastructure development, and public enterprise management. Candidates from Asia and Africa are especially invited to apply for this course. 

Faculty Development Programme (FDP)

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) is designed specially for researchers, teachers and trainers in Human Resource Department for their management education requirements. Admission Procedure

CAT or GMAT score and a Bachelor’s degree are required to apply for the IIM Postgraduate Programs in Management (PGP). In some Post Graduate programs you can also apply if you are awaiting your results. As you apply for a Postgraduate Program in Management, your academic record, scholastic achievements, personal Interview, group discussion and performance in the relevant field of work is often counted upon during the selection procedure.
