Jain university was university was established 1990 as a private institution as an urban campus resides its headquarter in Bangalore India . Earlier it was called as sri bhagwan mahaweer jain college and was declared deemed university by UGC . The environment of the university is enriched by highly qualified and talented staff and students. The university has foster human development through education and entrepreneurship .
The university offers many 35 undergraduate and 12 post graduate courses , M.phil and Ph.D courses in variety of fields like in humanities , physical sciences , management creative industries information technology and engineering science and sports sciences and has 20 campuses across the different areas offering such courses . There are around 26000 students enrolled and they recruit 2000 staff members . The university has a land of 300 acres with lush green gardens all round the university . They provide many facilities like a huge library , laboratories , auditorium , gymnasium , cafetria , sports facilities . The universities has made students life very easy and luxirious , as there are many facilities for students like students cultural committee , clubs societies . The university has foster ethical environmental founded on human values in which both spirit and skill will thrive to enrich the quality of life .
