Rguhs was established in 1996 with the motto ‘right for rightful health science eduction’ as a public university located in Bangalore India. It was directed by Rajiv Ghandhi as a university of health science by the Act of 1994 which even has many colleges affiliated to it around 276 colleges. The main aim of the university is to promote higher education and inno9vate in order to be excellent in the field of health science in the state of Karnataka .the University is even a member of association of Indian University (AIU). It was originally established in Mysore 1996 and latterly shifted to Bangalore.
The university offers number of courses and have 8 departments and courses related to subjects like medicine, dentists, physiotherapy, pharmacy and nursing. The university has a huge land and has a proper infrastructure to imparting goods knowledge to its student’s facilities like Laboratories, computer labs, library. The university is approved by UGC and it is a self contained university.
