The technical school was create in 1940 as a delhi polytechnic. It offered curses like arts, Architecture, commerce, engineering, applied science and textiles.
It is a campus sprawling 164 acres located in delhi and directed under the control of government of India. It has been upgraded DCE to the State University with name of Delhi technological university.
The motto related is “work is worship”. It has 2000 undergraduates and 450 postgraduates with 110 faculty members.
