Delhi Technological University was formerly known as Delhi College of engineering. It is one of the premier science & technological institute of India. The Govt. of NCT of Delhi has upgraded DCE to the State University with the name Delhi Technological University. In its history of 70years, DTU has become a renowned name in engineering education in India. Delhi Technological University is constantly renovating its infrastructure and its research & education facilities, to stand tall amidst the best engineering institutions of India.
The institute has 12departments offering various undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programmes. Admission to Bachelors degree at Delhi Technological University is based on performance at AIEEE. Postgraduate degree admission at DTU is based on performance in the GATE qualifying exam, followed by an interview. Delhi Technological University is ranked No. 13 by India Today in the list of Top 25 Engineering colleges of India.
