Faculty of Management Studies also known as FMS was established in 1954. It is a constituent institute of the University of Delhi. FMS is the first business school in India which started offering Full Time MBA programme in India. Faculty of Management Studies is the business school of University of Delhi. The institute offers both, full time and part time MBA courses. It is one of the oldest business schools of India and also considered as one of the top 10 business schools in India.
It is situated in North and South Campus of Delhi University. Faculty of Management Studies also has exchange programmes and collaborative arrangements with some of the leading management institutions, major corporate houses and professional organizations in India and abroad. The Faculty of Management Studies focuses on management education more than just business management. The average domestic salary package for the class of 2010 was 13.10lakhs per annum. The network of more than 9000 alumni gives students’ unmatched access to information, mentors and careers.

Admission Procedure
Admission for pursuing Management programmes in Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is through the FMS Entrance test generally conducted in 1st week of January every year. The test is designed to examine the skill and aptitude of an applicant for the management courses taught at FMS. The 2-hour admission test usually comprises of the basic areas like Quantitative ability, Verbal ability, English comprehension, Analytical ability and Logical Reasoning. MBA (FT) Programme has 166 seats which include the seats reserved for foreign candidates and MBA (MS) has 75 seats including seats reserved for foreign candidates.
