Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, IIIT Delhi build with seed support from the Government of NCT of Delhi in 2008. It was founded as a state University by Delhi Government.
IIIT Delhi covers an area of about 15000 sq. ft and there are about 123 students at Undergraduates level and 15 at Postgraduate level. It encourages its students for innovation and entrepreneurship in the areas of IT. The centre have various labs and activity rooms.
IIIT Delhi is globally known as centre for excellence in Information Technology education, Training and research and focus on Technological research at both Undergraduates and Post graduates so that engineers of outstanding ability who can become innovation and new products creators.
