Ram Lal Anand College was set up in 1964 by a philanthropist and legal luminary Late Ram Lal Anand, a senior advocate in the Supreme Court of India, to impart education at the University level. The college was managed by the Ram Lal Anand Trust until it was taken over by the University of Delhi in July, 1973. Since then, it is being run as a Delhi University Maintained Institution. The college, located in the picturesque surroundings with the Aravali range around it, is a part of the South Campus of Delhi University. The Evening College was started in 1973. Both Boys and girls are admitted to Humanities, Arts and Commerce courses at the undergraduate level. The management of the college is looked after by a statutory Governing Body constituted by Delhi Univesity.
