Eligibility Criteria:
For BA LLB a candidate should have qualified or passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.
In addition, a candidate should be under 20 years of age (22 years for reserved categories) before the given date of the exam
For LLM candidate should have qualified with a LLB/BA LLB degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories). Those who are in final year can also apply.
The unfilled Seats reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates are assigned to Scheduled Tribe candidates and vice-versa. If sufficient eligible SC and ST candidates are not available to fill such Seats, they are reallocated to General Category candidates in order of CLAT merit. The vacant Seats of Persons with Disability Category shall be offered to the All India General Category Candidates only in order of CLAT.

Examination
Since the admission to NALSAR is through CLAT candidates need to apply for CLAT. The application forms for the CLAT examination can be availed from various branches of popular banks like State Bank of India, Indian Bank etc. One can also avail the application form from the university and law institutes that participates in the CLAT examination.
