University College of Law Osmania University is one among the reputed educational institutions for acquiring legal education in Andhra Pradesh. Osmania University College of Law Eligibility Criteria
LLB 3 Year:
The candidates should have completed graduation in any field from a recognized university.
Masters of Law (LLM)
The applicants should possess Bachelors of Law (LLB) degree from a recognized university, in order to seek admission in this program.
Osmania University College of Law Syllabus
Osmania University accepts the scores of LAWCET. The LAWCET Test is designed to evaluate the candidate’s ability and aptitude to pursue the study of Law. The Test consists of three parts, each carrying 40 marks. The questions will be of objective type and include multiple choice questions, matching items, and questions arising out of a small passage containing basic information. For 5 years Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level and for 3 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.

Osmania University College of Law Examination
- A candidate for admission to LL.B. semester course has to qualify at the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year. The candidates will be admittedly strict in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidate.
- LAWCET application forms are usually made available in March every year. Last date usually extends to April and the Entrance Test is conducted in May or June.
- Duly filled-in application form for Entrance Test may be sent by Speed post/Registered Post or any mode or delivered in person at the Office of the Convener, LAWCET, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati – 517 502 as per schedule.
- If a candidate applies for 3 year Law Course on the application form of 5 year Law Course, or vice versa, the application will be rejected.
