This institute conducts Bachelor of Dental surgery (BDS) course from the session 2007-08 with the affiliation of West Bengal University of Health Sciences and has been approved by the Dental Council of India. The approved intake is 100 students per year. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available within the campus. The Institute has 136 beded super facility hospital named Dr. B.C. Roy Hospital.

Admission Procedure:
- For BDS – The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2009. The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent at 10+2 level from a recognized council/board and passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually, and obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, will be eligible for admission. Mere fulfilling eligibility criteria do not guarantee admission. Admission will be solely based on the merit in the entrance test and counselling.
