School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology

Established in year 1962, School of Legal Studies is one of the oldest departments of the University. It was founded as a part of Kerala University, offering postgraduate courses and research in law. School of Legal Studies (NLSIU) has been ranked 13th amongst the Top-25 law schools in the country by India Today. This law school is one of the prestigious institutions engaged in law teaching and research in India.
Since last 47 years of its glorious existence, School of Legal Studies (SLS CUSAT) has been emphasizing on the development of the qualities of innovations, responsibility, self learning and adaptability of each student. Candidates are shortlisted with a rigorous selection process based on a national level written test, interview and group discussion. SCL provides the students with placement facilities and the basic qualification for the participation in the placement programme is LL.B.Degree.
