Pratap Chandra Memorial Homoeopathic Hospital & College (PCMHHC) is a popular Homoeopathic college in Kolkata, West Bengal and the college is famous by its short nickname PCM College to students. The college was established in the year 1926 by late Dr. Jitendra Nath Majumder, in order to commemorate the name of his illustrious father late Dr. Pratap Chandra Majumder who was one of the pioneer of Homoeopathy in India and popularised Homoeopathy in West Bengal.

The institution is connected by regular local bus, minibus services from Howrah, Sealdah and Ultadanga Railway Station, auto-rickshaw services, metro-railways and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport.The college is affiliated to Calcutta University and the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and is recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) and AYUSH under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and is recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal.
Facilities:
The college is equipped with laboratories, library,anatomy dissection hall and 24-hour emergency services. Special facilities like x-ray, ECG, ultrasonography, eye,dental, ENT, physiotherapy units are provided. Also the college department is now equipped with computer in order to import education to Repertory. There are arrangements for various indoor games like table tennis, carrom etc.

Admission Procedure:
Applications are invited from candidates who have passed H.S. (10+2)/ equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for admission to 1st BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) for the session 2010-2011, in the payment seats as per directive of Govt. of West Bengal.
Documents Required:
- Attested recent passport-sized photograph should be fixed on the form.
- Attested copy of admit card of the Madhyamik / equivalent examination for age proof.
- Attested copy of mark sheet of HS / equivalent examination.
- Attested copy of father or guardian’s income certificate.
- Character certificate from the head of the institution last studied / MLA / MP / Councilor / Pradhan.
- Attested copy of SC / ST certificate, if any.
