Sarojini Naidu College for women was established on 14th August 1956 and received its affiliation from the University of Calcutta in 1956 under UGC Act 2F and 12B. As a degree College of North 24 Paraganas, we are now affiliated to West Bengal State University (WBSU), Barasat. Sarojini Naidu College for Women, with its beautiful sprawling campus and greeen environs opposite Dum Dum Telephone Exchange is one of the premier Institution for women's education in West Bengal. The college today stand among the best women college of the West Bengal. The college provides excellent teaching faculty, upgraded laboratory, well stocked library for pursuit of studies.
