The Sultan Khan Educational Trust was founded by the visionary Mr. Nazar Hussain in 1991; with a view to develop a stream of educational institutes from primary schools to professional colleges; has become a symbol of quality; and dedication in holistic human development comprising of academic excellence; creative thinking; physical fitness and social awareness. It promotes value based education; integration of cultural values and high moral to facilitate free flow of knowledge.
Asmita College of Architecture: Started on 1st September, 2006 under the able guidance of Ar. Chandrakant Dhamne, has quickly gained momentum in its achievements and has begged 3 prizes at the National Convention of NASA 2006 held at Manipal. It is one of the very few colleges of architecture with excellent infrastructure and facility. It aims to mould young and talented students into mature, talented and versatile architects.
Recognition and Affiliation: The College has been approved by The Council of Architecture, New Delhi; an apex body formulated under the Architect’s Act 1972. It is also approved by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. It is affiliated to Mumbai University.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:
A candidate aspiring to join F.Y.B. Arch. should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) or equivalent (any Stream) with Mathematics as one subject, with aggregate marks minimum 50 % (open category) and 45 % (Reserved Category). In addition to this the candidate should have passed the (NATA) on line test conducted by NIASA, (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with minimum 40 % marks (for open category) and 35 % marks (for Reserve category). The Admission procedure to F.Y.B. Arch. shall be governed by Pravesh Niyantran Samity, Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture and Council of Architecture, New Delhi from time to time.
