Banasthali Vidhyapith
Banasthali Vidhyapeeth University, a university for women, was established in 1935 by Smt. Ratan Shastri and Pandit Hiralal Shastri in the memory of their talented daughter Shanta Bai. A UGC recognized university, Banasthali Vidhyapeeth is one of the five universities in India meant only for women. The University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, with A Grade.
Bhagwant University

Central University of Rajasthan
The Central University of Rajasthan has been established in February 2009 by an Act of Parliament, the Central Universities Act 2009.The first year of establishment reflects well sustained pace of growth and development of the University during the year. The University has now been allotted over 500 Acres of land at Bandar Sindri on Jaipur-Ajmer Road, about 80 km from Jaipur. The University has also been given a newly constructed Shri R. K. Patni PG Govt. College, Kishangarh as a temporary campus for the University till the required infrastructure is ready at the permanent site. The University has launched six new PG programs with effect from the academic year 2010-11. These programs, along with the two launched in 2009-10, are being conducted at the temporary campus at Kishangarh.
Dr. K. N. Modi University
DR. K.N. Modi University, Newai, Tonk was established in the year 2010 and passed by the Government of Rajasthan & recognized by UGC under section 2(F) of UGC Act, 1956. The university has signed M.O.U. for academic collaborations with Kent state university USA. The university has a well equipped campus with the full of facilities.
IASE Deemed University
IASE Deemed University was established under the Government of India under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956. IASE stands for Institute of Advanced Studies in Education. The university is located in the north western state of Rajasthan. The university was awarded with the status of being a deemed university of Government of India and UGC in the year 2002. The university is famous as the premier institute in the Faculty of Education. The university also started the Distance Education Programme in the year 2003 with the objective of bringing education to all needed people.
IIS University
The International College for Girls (ICG) has now been conferred with the status of a deemed to be university, The IIS University, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.
The status of a deemed university has provided greater autonomy in setting our own educational agenda (courses, syllabi, teaching methodologies etc.) as well as the authority to award degrees. The academic courses and programmes offered under the aegis of The IIS University are accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Jagannath University
Jagan Nath University has been established in 2008, by an Act (Act No. 19 of 2008) of the Rajasthan State Legislature and is approved under section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 to award Degrees. The University has been established to cater to the growing needs of higher education in the country.

Jaipur National University
Jaipur National University, located on the foothills of the Aravalis, was established with the aim to meet the demands of knowledge and learning of life-skills with a difference. The University was formed by the conjugation of the Seedling Group of Institutions, running under the Mahima Shiksha Samiti. Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University
Established under the Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University Act 2008 (Act No. 17 of 2008), passed by Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and notified through Government of Rajasthan, Extraordinary Gazette Notification on 21st April, 2008. Clarification on AICTE Approval:-As per law, universities do not require any approval from AICTE to start or conduct technical programs as per AICTE letter no. F.AICTE/RTI/ CELL/2008/46 dated June 4, 2008. The University is the first private state women’s university in India.

University of Rajasthan

The University of Rajasthan is the oldest institution of higher learning in Rajasthan. It was established on 8 January 1947, as the University of Rajputana with the main objective of disseminating knowledge and catering to the needs of the students of Rajasthan. It had jurisdiction over the entire state. In the year 1956, the Rajputana University was renamed as the University of Rajasthan, keeping intact its enveloping jurisdiction. With the successive creation of other universities, its affiliating jurisdiction has come down to only seven districts of Rajasthan, but it is still the hub of higher education in Rajasthan paving the way for the other universities.
