Don Bosco University started as the project of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB). University is located at the Guwahati, India. The campus of the University is spread up upon the 270 acres of area. Guwahati University started in 1948 under the Act 1947, Guwahati University is the first university of North East India, located in Guwahati, Assam. The University has been accredited with a 4 star rating by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of UGC. It is funded by the University Grants Commission and the Government of Assam for research and other academic activities.
