Amity University Haryana-AUH has been established by the Haryana Act 10 of 2010 by Government of Haryana. Amity University Haryana-AUH is a private university established by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), New Delhi which is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and was established with the view to promote professional, industry-oriented education in the state of Haryana. Amity University Haryana-AUH is located on a sprawling 110 acre campus at Gurgaon (Manesar).

The Apeejay Education Society (AES) announced the opening of Apeejay Stya University at Sohna, Gurgaon. Apeejay Stya University will offer a varied range of courses including management education for the academic session 2010-11. Apart from that, technical, scientific and liberal arts courses will also be provided. The university has been sponsored by the Apeejay Stya Education Foundation. During the application process, the university would also recognize a number of examination scores including AIEEE, GMAT, SAT, and SAT II.

BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is the first Women’s University in North India that started with its first academic session in August 2007. It has been named after the legendary Bhagat Phool Singh, who fought all odds to enlighten the lives of women. Located at Khanpur Kalan (Sonepat) in the state of Haryana, it is one of the initiatives taken by the Government of Haryana to empower women in the state. Central University of Haryana in Jant-Pali village, Mahendragarh district of Haryana, India to be set up in 500 acres (2.0 km2), has been established through an Act of Parliament: “The Central Universities Act, 2009" by Govt. of India. Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University established by an Act of Parliament on February 2 , 1970 situated in Hisar . It was named after the seventh Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Charan Singh . It is popularly known as HAU and it is Asia’s biggest agricultural universities. It was initially a campus of Punjab University and it became an autonomous institution on Feb 2, 1970 and later ratified a Haryana and Punjab University Act 1970.

The university play a very important role and even contributes in agricultural research in India towards Green and White Revolution and accordingly offers Post Graduate and Under Graduate Courses in such fields. It offers UG course in B. Sc (hons.), B. Tech, BVSC and AH. Postgraduate programme in MSC, MBA, M. Tech and MV science. Admissions in college are conducted by common entrance test. Chaudhary Devi Lal University situated in Sisra set up by the Government of Haryana under an Act passed by State Legislature established on 2 April ,  2003. The main focuses of the institution is to provide quality education by liberal atmosphere.

The University offers academic programme in the area of Technology , Management , Commerce , Law , Mass Communication , Humanities , Social Sciences , Science and Post Graduate Level. Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology evolved from the first Government Engineering College in the state of Haryana established in 1987 situated in Murthal. It has been named after the great Freedom Fighter Sir Chhotu Ram. The college was formally known as CR State College of Engineering and on 30 October  2006 , it was upgraded as Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology.

The University offers 8 undergraduate and 3 postgraduate courses in the field of Engineering and Management and Admissions takes place on the basis of AIEEE. The Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, was established on October 20, 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana with the objectives 'to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of technology, pharmacy, environmental studies, non-conventional energy sources and management studies and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields'.

The University enjoys a rare distinction of getting recognized by the University Grants (UGC), within 15 months of its coming into being. The University opted for accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous organization of the University Grants Commission, in 2001-02. As a result of the exercise, the NAAC accredited this University at "A" level (institutional score 85%) among the Universities.

Manav Rachna International University (MRIU) is one of the leading institutions for higher studies in Delhi NCR. It is a deemed-to-be university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 as a successor of Career Institute of Technology & Management (CITM), which was established in 1997 with the approval of AICTE, Department of Technical Education Haryana and affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak with an intake of 180 students in Three B.Tech Programme. National Brain Research Centre is a major neuroscience research group, situated in Manesar township of Haryana, India. It is an Autonomous Government Institute accredited with a deemed university status and is a nodal center under Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. NBRC was dedicated to the country on the 14th November, 1997 and it was formally inaugurated at its current campus in Manesar in December 2003 by then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The National Dairy Research Institute or the NDRI Karnal is India's premier institute for dairy research. The institute was accorded the status of a Deemed University in the year 1989. The quality of education provided at the NDRI in the field of dairying has very few parallels in Asia.
