Established in 1949, XLRI School of Business and Human Resources is the oldest B-School in India. XLRI stands for Xavier Labour Research Institute. It is also considered as one of the top 5 business schools of India. The entrance exam conducted for taking admission in XLRI is names as XAT. XAT scores may also be used for applying to other XAT affiliated B-schools. Xavier Labour Research Institute School of Business and Human Resources was established in 1949 by Father Quinn Enright, in the ‘Steel City’ of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. XLRI is a pioneer in imparting education in management and has been instrumental in ushering a new dawn in India.
