Barkatullah University is an Indian university in Bhopal, named after the great freedom fighter, Prof. Barkatullah, who was born there. It is the main university of the capital city and provides degrees to most of the non-technical colleges in and around Bhopal. Funded by state government, the university has a residential campus and serves as affiliating university for colleges of seven other districts. The university affiliates the colleges of Bhopal district and other neighbouring districts like Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen, Betul, Hoshangabad, Harda and Rajgarh. Barkatullah University has been accredited as a B category university by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, abbreviated IIITDM Jabalpur, is an IIIT and a Deemed University in Jabalpur that focuses on Design and Manufacturing.
The Indian Institute of Information Technology-Design and Manufacturing, was established in year 2005 by the Government of India under the Indian Societies Registration Act, for imparting skills to engineering students who can use IT in the field of Design and Manufacturing.

Jiwaji University (JU) is an affiliating university situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. The name comes from that of George Jivajirao Scindia of Gwalior. The university was established on May 23, 1964 and Sarvapelli Radhakrishnan, the President of India, laid the foundation stone of the University Campus on December 11, 1964. It is fully accredited by the Indian government.
