Ganpat University, Mehsana established in 2005 located in Mehsana , Gujarat . Ganpat University was set up by the Government of Gujarat through Gujarat State Act No. 19 of 2005. The University functions under the management of Mehsana District Education Foundation (MDEF) established in june1996 by eminent industrialist, businessmen, NRI industrialists and educationalists.

Ganpat University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and postgraduate programmes through its various academic divisions. The university covers almost all the spheres of professional education ranging from engineering to management courses. Ganpat University has five hostels within its campus premises, out of which two are for girls and three for boys. All hostels are equipped with modern facilities and attached mess. The University houses a high-tech education campus at Mehsana, spread over 300 acres of land with lush landscape and pollution free environment. Other facilities include staff-quarters, guest house, shopping center, bank counter, open-air theatre, gymnasium and a campus clinic.

U. V. Patel College of engineering (UVPCE) situated in Ganpat vidyanagar campus was established in septmber-1997 under the aegis of Mehsana District Education Foundation with a view of educating and training young talented students of Gujarat at the field of engineering and technology to meet the needs of industries in Gujarat and beyond for the growth of the industries. The College is named after Shri Ugarchandbhai Varanasibhai Patel, a leading industrialist of Gujarat, for his generous donation of Rs. 1.25 crores.
