Amity University is a private university in Noida, India established under an Uttar Pradesh state government act. It is also home to the Amity Institute of Information Technology.

The founder president is Ashok Chauhan. It is not approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). As per the university, it is not required to take the approval of AICTE. The university has been involved in controversies, including refusal by the Universities Grants Commission (UGC) to recognize Amity University and an international arrest warrant against its founder president Ashok Chauhan

Gautam Buddha University, established by the UP Act (9) of 2002, commenced its first academic session at its 511 acres lush green campus at Greater Noida in August 2008. The University is funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNOIDA). Sharda University is a state private university in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established by the U.P. State Legislative Act in 2009 and approved by the University Grants Commission. It is part of the Sharda Group of Institutions, which has been providing education in northern India for 15 years. It offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in engineering, science, health professions, business, and management.
