Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong is the youngest IIM Business School in India. It was established in 2007 in the state of Meghalaya by Government of India. This 7th IIM is also known as RGIIM. RGIIM aims at providing quality education about management sciences to its students. The institute is named after the youngest Prime Minister of India Shri Rajiv Gandhi. RGIIM has been set up with a vision of expansion and mobilization of facilities for offering best quality management education and research in the North Eastern region of India.

Ever since its inception, it is being considered in the top B-schools of India. The campus of IIM Shillong is situated at a scenic landscape in Nongthymai in Shillong covering an area of 120acres.
