The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura was built under the terms of the Institutes of Chartered Financial Analyses of India University, Tripura Act 2004 enacted by Legislative body of Tripura State.

The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Agartala, is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, a non-profit educational society established in 1984 under the A.P.

Tripura University is a UGC recognized university which was established on 2nd October 1987. The university has 16 departments and offers 38 courses. It also promotes cultural activities with its centre for Tribal Language. Tripura University was declared as the Central University on 2nd June 2007. Tripura University epitomizes the aspirations of the state’s people for academic excellence at the highest level.  Distance Education segment of Tripura University was introduced in 1996.
